Big congratulations to Daniel and Kate for making it into the finals of Poetry & Prose ! 6b did an absolutely amazing job, reciting their poems in front of the class and reading a short story too. It was very hard deciding who should have gone through. ( Mr.Karsten dislikes decision making! ) After Fridays finals, they had made a decision out of 10 students. Kate ended up taking top prize for her fantastic performance!

Big apology to the parents of the students who do not have not been handed their homework books yet - we have run out of the blue books. We will have them back in stock as of week 8 and handed to the students who do not have one yet. For the moment, I am currently printing out the exact pages they need to be doing in their books, so they do not miss out.
Parent/Teacher discussions are coming up very soon, please make sure you have booked in a time to see your teacher. This takes place from 1:15pm - 8:30pm in week 10, April the 3rd.
